CoHear Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the CoHear mobile application ("CoHear" or the "App"), you agree to be bound by this User Agreement ("Agreement"). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use CoHear.
2. Description of Service
CoHear provides voice recording, real-time speech-to-text transcription, AI-powered summarization, and content generation services, including PPTs and infographics. CoHear allows you to:
- Record audio using your device's microphone
- Convert speech to text through voice recognition
- Generate summaries and deliverables from your recordings
- Manage and share your recorded content
- Import audio files or documents that you actively select and generate related content
- Select and update your profile avatar from the camera or photo library
3. Account Registration and Security
- You must provide accurate information when creating a CoHear account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Permissions and Device Access
To provide its services, CoHear requires the following permissions:

| Photo Library | To select images for your profile avatar and sharing |
| File Selection | To import local audio files or documents that you actively select |
| System Notifications | To send necessary service notifications related to recording protection, audio sync issues, transcription or summary completion or failure, deliverable generation completion or failure, pending tasks, and account security |
| Clipboard Writing | To copy share text or links after you confirm sharing; we do not proactively read your clipboard content |
| Share | To share generated content through your device's system share functionality |
You may revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings; however, doing so may limit or disable certain CoHear features.
You may disable system notifications at any time in your device settings. Disabling notifications will not affect basic use of CoHear, but you may not receive timely reminders about automatic recording endings, cloud sync issues, completed results, or account security.
If Android service SMS is used to support necessary service notifications, we will use it only after your authorization and only for necessary service scenarios such as login verification, account security, recording sync issues, recording protection endings, and important results waiting to be viewed. Service SMS is not a device permission and will not be used for marketing. You may disable or refuse it according to in-app prompts or SMS rules.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use CoHear for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Record, upload, or share content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others
- Use CoHear to harass, defame, or harm others
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble CoHear
- Interfere with or disrupt CoHear's operation or servers
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of CoHear, excluding user-generated content, are owned by TechCreate Connect Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you create using CoHear, subject to the license you grant us as described in the CoHear Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
COHEAR IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT COHEAR WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TECHCREATE CONNECT LIMITED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF COHEAR.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to CoHear at any time for violation of this Agreement or for any other reason at our discretion. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through CoHear's logout function.
10. Changes to This Agreement
We may update this Agreement from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Agreement in CoHear or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of CoHear after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict of law principles.
